Introducing Round Edge’ a collaborative project created and lead by Riccardo Dabiré. Their three track EP uses harmonics as the main compositional tool. Using bass guitar as the primary instrument, each track explores harmonics adopting different creative approaches. Two of the tracks featured on the EP are instrumental aside from the lead single, Hold On, which is an evocative piece written by former Bastion member Byron Biroli and complimented by the voice of Priscilla Anderson. The standout cut for us is the beautifully crafted title track. All in all, the debut release from Round Edge is the perfect blend of ambient, dreamy jazz from start to finish, with musicianship that is very pleasing to the ears. Check out the alluring EP below and enjoy.
