New York-based label Styles Upon Styles enlist Thaddeus Nelson Jr for their latest release.
The former bowling alley attendant recorded the aptly titled Dance Record after quitting his job and the three tracks that make up the EP exemplifies a different tone for the dance. “The afternoon rays emanating from “Disco Junky”, the rowdy energy of “Wild Inn” and the brooding midnight machinations of “Mr Moon” serve as journal entries for a sleepless, summer weekend spent dancing in NYC.”
