After releasing two fine EP’s by Tidelines plus projects from Yumi and The Weather and Decyfer, XVI Records return with their first drop in 2016. The label returns to their original release format, “Ten groove-laden tracks from ten members of the XVI family. Drawing lines and connecting the dots across the globe.”
The album features tracks from Haarschnitt, Solapur Road, Bert Stevens, Joshua Oldsoul, Frankie Knight, Manley Brien, Munro and Yumi and the Weather. Also featured on the compilation are two hazy, soulful cuts by London artists Books and Mindset which we’re streaming today.
