Having previously released a cassette and 7” single on the label as well as an EP on Ramp Recordings, Young Echo members ‘Jabu’ return with ‘Slow Hours’.

A brooding atmospheric track featuring the spoken words of chester gilles, a slow drum beat and a subtle but deep-reaching bass combine sublimely to make what is ultimately a fascinating listen.

A slowly turning piece about love-sickness and longing…This is distilled soul music in it’s purest form.
