We first caught wind of this brooding track on the  Kornuits Session 22 Tracks a few weeks ago. Rotterdam-based singer/producer Sevdaliza has caused waves in the blog world and her new single entitled “That Other Girl,” only exemplifies the hype. Sonically this track melds smooth trap vibes with an ominous sounding beat and Sevdaliza seductive tones . Lyrically she addresses the endless cycle of consumerist culture and how that can affect personal relationships. “When I wrote this song I tried to understand mine and others assumptions on how we welcome entertainment until we’re satisfied and move on,” Sevdaliza explained to Fader. “[We’re] robotically drawn back into position, waiting for the next call.
