The Indigo Child is back with a brand new song called “Fly” featuring his “best friend” Malik Shakur. We’ve predicted big things for Raury this year and he’s certainly off to a great start with this powerful acoustic guitar-based song.

“I hope one day we fly, above the things that make humanity divide,” Raury sings. In a series of tweets, the buzzing musician explained that he wrote “Fly” after “hearing Darren Wilson was not being indicted for murdering Mike Brown. I wrote it instantly.” He added, “I know it’s a new year but we can’t forget what happened and that they have been killing our people, your people, my people.” Listen in below and read a few of Raury’s tweets about the track below.
