Over the past few weeks we’ve been listening to Nosidam of Chicago collective THEMpeople real heavy. The DC-born singer/songwriter/photographer dropped his debut mixtape “If Only You’ll Consider” at the end of last year. The steady stream of songs gave us an idea of how talented he is. His skills as a singer are exceptional and you’ll hear it throughout the mixtape. The 11-track project features a few of his close friends such as benhixon, Via Rosa, theMIND (of THEMpeople), and Raliq Bashard. Keeping it in the family the project was engineered and mixed by Lboogie of THEMpeople. This slow tempo, soulful project is perfect for setting a sensual ambiance and is best played in the late night hours. Tracks like “Get To Know Ya,” “Turn The Lights Off,” “Peace With Mind” and “A Dream Come True” are fine examples of this. I highly recommend you give it a listen and check out his previous work here.  Stream ‘If Only You’ll Consider” below and download here.
