It’s been a while since we’re able to put together our “Today’s” playlist, but here’s our new one. Back in July we did a post on the multitalented collective of THEMpeople. The crew consisting Michael Anthony, Lon Renzel,Sean Deaux and THE Mind have been constantly working and collaborating with some of Chicago’s brightest young stars, producing forward thinking, boundary pushing music. Anyway, they and some of their affiliated artist have been dropping gems over the past few months, so we thought we’d shared them with you. As the year is coming to a close, we’re still not quite in the party vibe but THEMpeople provide the perfect soundtrack for our in-between state of mind. Twenty tracks including music by Mick Jenkins, Ben Hixon, Nosidam and Via Rosa, whose voice i fall in love more and more on each listen( so much emotion in every note). Enjoy!
