I’ve been waiting for more from Billie Black since she wowed us with her track “I Don’t Need Another Lover” a few months back. Having loved her first two singles, I had a feeling that her debut EP would be pretty good. Turns out I was right. The EP, ‘000 100’ is a beautiful blend of smooth, sophisticated pop and downtempo electronic-soul tracks. Some of which have a retro jazz sound and feel while others are very modern and experimental. Take a listen – it’s a wonderful introduction to an artist you’ll be hearing about for years to come.
