Etta Bond and longtime collaborator Raf Riley returns to us with #COOLURBANNEWTALENT and it’s an impressive addition to their catalogue of EP’s.  Although billed as a solo record, the production is mainly handled by Riley except for one track. On this new 5-track EP, they’ve manage to put together a more accessible but still very experimental sound in tracks like “King To Be” and “Feels Like,” the latter of which is produced by Chris Loco. Both of those tunes are utterly sublime. But they have also maintained their sense of adventure that made us love them from the jump. That can found in, “Mark Your Territory”, “In The Morning” and “Bubble.” The production is a slam dunk and Bond’s vocals deliver as always. If you’re new to Etta Bond and her sound then this EP serves as an excellent introduction, even though it’s her third. Kaleidoscopic is the best word that I can think of to describe it. Enjoy!
