Our girl Mélat is back in action. Hot off the heels of her ‘Side B’ series, the lovely Austin, TX songstress once again pairs up with producer Jansport for a smouldering 9-track project called Move Me. With the current deluge of aspirational singers attempting to create experimental R&B by carelessly applying drawn-out synths and dark vocals, it’s good to hear some classic 90’s sounding R&B that keep things interesting without trying to throw in the latest gimmick. This is genuinely impressive stuff. Together these two can do no wrong.
