Nick Hakim is a busy man. Right off the back of sharing his debut EP ‘Where Will We Go Pt.1’, here’s the first track from the follow up. The slinky blues-tinged soul returns for his latest song, “I Don’t Know” and it’s fair to say that it’s that soulfulness that made us love him from the jump. The breezy new track from the Brooklyn singer further showcases his undeniable talents, with a reverb-laden guitar kicking things off, a gentle piano wafting away and Hakim’s raspy voice a charming mixture of Al Green with a dash of Marvin Gaye, it sounds like a lost classic from the ’70s vault. This one just takes you places.
