SOS (Shadows On Stars) is an electronic R&B duo from Portland that made quite a buzz with their debut song “Youth In Decline” and now they’ve brought to us the amazing follow up entitled “She Wants”. Tastefully produced by Brian Vincent, deep electronic trap sounds meet with playful R&B and the immersive vocals of Randa Leigh places this seductive palette somewhere between Grimes, Aaliyah and The xx. Speaking about the experimental sonics of the track the duo had this to say:

“We were listening to a lot of Aaliyah and King Krule when we wrote this. In particular “One in a Million” and “Out Getting Ribs.” For some reason we felt like those two songs played nicely together. Then we wanted some tribal shit a la 808′s and Heartbreak so we added that to the end sequence (Yeezy taught us).”

The new track along with “Youth in Decline,” will feature on the group’s self-titled album, due out on September 16th. Hear and download both below.
