Following their first compilation tape, the dancefloor-oriented 10.1, London label Hyperdub continue to celebrate their ten year anniversary with a second compilation, 10.2, which focuses more on their roster of underrated but talented songwriters, vocalists and producers. One of the new cuts from the forthcoming compilation is Jessy Lanza’s lush minimalistic track, “You and Me,” an electro meets r&b ballad with the velvety falsetto of Lanza vocals cutting through the cold electronic production. Lanza’s debut album Pull Back My Hair was met with much praise upon its release last year and she continues to intrigue with this electrified piece of music. Check it out below.
