We’ve been raving about 19-year-old Shamir Bailey since we first heard his androgynous vocals on “I Know It’s A Good Thing,” and we’re hyped that his debut EP, Northtown is now streaming in advance of its physical release via Godmode. It’s an impressive debut, from the opening track “If It Wasn’t True,” through to the closing song, a lovely acoustic cover of Lindi Ortega’s “Lived and Died Alone.” We guarantee you’ll be totally captivated by his raw, yet infectious style. The Northtown EP is out via Goodmode on June 11th. Listen below.
