Good news for all lovers of vinyl, a new independent record store is set to open its doors next weekend in East London.

Love Vinyl is the brainchild of several heavyweights in the business, legendary record dealer Zaf Chwodry of Reckless Records, Jake Holloway who previously ran Village Vinyl, promoter Stuart Patterson (Faith/East Village) and James Manero of promoters Another Party. Also involved in the daily running of the shop is London DJ and Moton Records member Dave Jarvis. The shop will have two counters, one reserved for new house, techno and disco/edits as well as the best in new reggae, soul and jazz, the other for vintage and second-hand rarities.
