Over the past few months, Los Angeles trio clipping have slowing been leaking out new material. This has been in anticipation of their new album ‘CLPPNG’, which was premiered yesterday by NRP First Listen ahead of its release on June 10th. The album doesn’t disappoint with the same abrasive noise and aggressive production as “Midcity” but this one is much more varied and if truth be told more listenable. That’s not to say we didn’t enjoy “Midcity”, as we definitely did, but this one flows much more cohesively and the song ideas feel fully formed, resulting in a strong follow up.
