We don’t claim to know much about Chicago label Trouble In Mind, but give us some indie rock, psychedelic pop, garage mixed in with a little punk and we’re all over it! This is exactly what the bands on the labels roster deliver in spades.The label was founded back in 2009 by Bill & Lisa Roe. Starting out with the focus on the 2 and 1/2 minute pop song, the label has grown and mutated into a reflection of the Roe’s ever evolving tastes. The husband-and-wife team were former bandmates in CoCoComa, but on the arrival of their baby daughter decided starting a record label would be a good alternative to keep music in their lives. In five short years Trouble in Mind Records has gone from strength to strength releasing stellar music from the likes of The Resonars, Jacco Gardner, MMOSS, The Lliminanas (our faves) and many more.
