Sorceress (formerly known as Funkommunity) is a 5-piece band from New Zealand. Their 2011 debut album Chequered Thoughts received worldwide acclaim and saw the band tour Europe and Japan the following year. The creative duo at the core of Sorceress is producer/band leader Isaac Aesili and vocalist Rachel Fraser. Teacups is the first single from the forthcoming album ‘Dose’ by Sorceress due to drop on May 20th. Isaac Aesili’s production provides a diverse and sonically rich soundscape, providing the perfect platform for Rachel’s soulful vocals. Both dancefloor orientated and contemplative, Teacups takes the listener to an unknown destination, strange but familiar, somewhere between the future and the past.
