We’ve kept our eyes and ears on DonChristian ever since he dropped his debut mixtape The Wayfarer last year. The multi talented Harlem-based rapper/painter left a big impression around these parts with his deep husky tones that shifted between singing and rapping whilst sitting on top of leftfield productions from the likes of Le1f, Mess Kid and Squalladay. He returns with a new song entitled “Clerk” which is lifted off his forthcoming mixtape Renzo Piano. We find Don in a hazy mood, his voice restrained and hushed- this is real headphone music subtly produced by The-Drum’s Jeremiah Meece. Check the video above and stay tuned for more.
