Los Angeles trio William Hutson, Jonathan Snipes, and Daveed Diggs aka clipping are back with the lead track from their forthcoming album ‘CLPPNG‘. Having given us “Midcity” , one of the most forward thinking hip hop records we’ve heard in some time the trio return with a brand new track titled”Work Work”. The single continues where the Midcity left off, perhaps not as noisy but still as wonderfully weird and original as ever. A sparse and unsettling slow beat provides the foundation for rappers Diggs and Cocc Pistol Cree to rhyme over with the latter really shining with her all to brief guest spot. The track is definately an appetite whetter for their new LP which is due out on 10th June via Sub Pop.
