Warsaw Afrobeat Orchestra formed in Poland via Lagos in 2012.“Only Now” is the first-single from their soon to be released full-length album on Ubiquity Records. The 10-piece band is made up of musicians that have collaborated together on various projects ranging from jazz,, funk, reggae and folk in the underground scene in Poland.The music is hypnotic and whilst its clearly inspired by afrobeat they’ve added their own little unique twist which takes this to another level.When i first heard the track i instantly thought someone had dropped vocals by Bananarama over a tough afro groove,yeah thats a twist alright.Tribal music with a beat all of its own.Enjoy!
