This month’s instalment of Twistedsoul Presents… offers up a fantastic selection from the powerhouse duo of Emanative & Liz Elensky.
The long-standing musical union between singer-songwriter Liz Elensky alongside drummer and producer Nick Woodmansey dates all the way back to the beginning of Woodmansey’s Emanative project in 2006. As invaluable collaborators, Elensky’s vocals have graced a fantastic array of Emanative tracks from ‘Planet B’, ‘Eye Dive’, ‘Illusions’ and ‘When on Earth’. Their long overdue – but no less fantastic – collaborative full-length album release finally came in 2021 through the eclectic ‘The Volume of the Light’. Together, Elensky and Emanative have managed to cultivate a unique and distinct style that finds them masterfully able to navigate a course from 60s soul, spiritual jazz and to even more dance-orientated soundscapes.
