Video: Rosa Brunello – Chance Upon A Chance (Bopperson Remix ft. Maria Chiara Argirò, Tommaso Cappellato & Tamar Osborn) (TS Premiere)

A few months ago, we saw Rosa Brunello‘s ‘Chance Upon A Chance’ get a stunning transformation under the skilled hands of Paris-based producer Neil Bopperson. Since we rarely post remixes, you know this one is special.

Bopperson strips away the original’s jazz arrangement and replaces it with a straighter 4/4 groove that pulses with understated energy. Yet, he keeps Brunello’s hypnotic bassline front and centre, allowing her to remain the star.

The production sparkles with tasteful embellishments: Maria Chiara Argirò’s ethereal synth work adds atmospheric depth, while Tamar Osborn’s flute playing floats dreamily above the groove, and Tommaso Cappellato’s percussion subtly drives the momentum forward.

Born from a chance encounter at Danilo Plessow’s Paris studio, the track appears on ‘Reworks‘, which dropped digitally via Domanda Music last month. Vinyl lovers will have to wait till January to get their hands on the wax!

Today, we’re premiering the accompanying colourful and vibrant visual by Paul Hurley, which is a treat too – check it out below.
