Kit Records ambient sister label SWIMS is back with another essential release. ‘Esperando a Florian’ was recorded impulsively in the living room, using violin, cello, bass guitar and synths. Always a good day when International Anthem drop new music! The Chicago label recently announced Yowzers, a new album by Chicago composer, improviser, instrumentalist and musical folklorist Ben LaMar Gay. The album’s opener and title track, ‘yowzers’, is out now and streaming below.
The talented vocalist and producer Reginald Omas Mamode IV has dropped a defiant new single, ‘It’s Our World’, via Melting Pot Music. About the song, Reginald says: “Our persistence, elasticity, Love and our passion will prevail. We the people are more often than not, falsely led to believe that we are powerless. This is our world, let us get it back. Together.” Vibe to it below.
This is an outstanding two-track release from Gavsborg and Tóke on the Equiknoxx label. The two friends met in Berlin in 2021 via Exile Di Brave and have had many lunches, hangouts and collabs for different projects across the Equiknoxx universe. However, this is the first release exclusive to the pair. Back to back killers – highly recommended!
