Treat your taste buds to these mouthwatering leftovers!
Welcome to the end of the week and the last ‘Leftovers’ of 2024! Today, weโve got the brilliant new track from Damon Locks, and None More Records continues their dancefloor-focused Rollers series. Will Samson unveils a tender and soothing trip into the world of ambient music, and site faves ECHT! and Bandler Ching make a welcome return. Tuck in and enjoy.
New rather brilliant track for you now from Damon Locks. The Chicago-based visual artist, educator, musician, deejay, and vocalist has announced a new solo album, List of Demands. The album will land on January 31st via International Anthem. Dive into the album’s lead single “Click” and indulge your ears below.
So a few months back, London label None More Records treated us to the first of their dancefloor-focused Rollers series. The series continues with an EP of deep, dubby heat from Newcastle-based producer Tibshelf. The first taste, โHave Your Funโ, is an insanely good, gritty, 90bpm, darkly Balearic roller. Twisted vocals weave in and out of a prime slice of dubby chug.
Will Samson’s latest track, “Loshult,” featuring Swiss percussionist Julian Sartorius, is a tender and soothing trip into the world of ambient music. This slow-moving, intimate piece will be part of Samson’s forthcoming album, Songs Of Beginning & Belonging, set to release next month.
Weโve been fans of ECHT!โs futuristic and genre-fluid style for a long time. The Brussels-based outfit is back with a new track and a new album. “Highed” is a thumping cut from their upcoming album, Boilerism, set to drop on March 25th via Sdban Ultra.
Bandler Ching makes a bold return from within the vibrant Brussels music scene with their second album, Mercurial. In this latest offering, the trio edges even closer to the ever-evolving world of electronics and dance music while retaining the improvisational spirit that has always defined their sound at its core. Ahead of the release, two tracks are available to stream below.
