Erik Griwold, Helen Svoboda, and Chloe Kim create vibrant, spontaneous soundscapes. Their debut, Anatomical Heart, features unique timbres from prepared piano, bass, drums, and assorted objects. Recorded in the tranquil yet inspiring setting of Harrigans Lane, Australia, Anatomical Heart captures the essence of the trio’s creative synergy. Each track on the album showcases how Griwold, Svoboda, and Kim channel their distinct musical voices into a cohesive, harmonious, and exploratory language.


Koi Kingdom’s third and most ambitious self-titled album is a story of transformation and resilience, renowned for its boundary-defying compositions and instrumental virtuosity. This latest release delves into themes of friendship, loss, grief, rebirth, and joy, showcasing the special musical connection that guitarist Marcos Villalta, bassist Stephen Hornby, and saxophonist Cheryl Durongpisitkul have nurtured over years of collaboration. Through it all, the synergy between Villalta, Hornby, and Durongpisitkul is palpable. Their years of collaboration are evident in the seamless interplay and mutual understanding that underpins each track. Koi Kingdom’s latest offering will leave a lasting musical and visual impression.


Guitarist and composer Etsegenet Mekonnen embraces her passion for Ethiopian music with a fresh identity as Esy Tadesse. Now fifteen years into her career, this Los Angeles-based artist, originally from Addis Ababa, is excited to release her debut album, Ahadu, under her new name with FPE Records.


Hip-hop lovers, get ready to unwind with smooth, tempting saxophone melodies that beautifully intertwine with traditional gospel and soul music. All of this is set to a beat reminiscent of J Dilla, creating a relaxing vibe perfect for those with a passion for lo-fi hip-hop.
