




Indeed, it’s returned, but as for how long, well, that’s uncertain. What we do know is that we’ve got some fantastic new releases that we’re eager to share with you! Unfortunately, we haven’t had the opportunity to pen a detailed article about them yet. So, here they are in a more digestible size through our “Leftovers” feature. Aaron With is set to release a stunning visual album (BluRay and screenings in various places) and also an audio album which can be listened to independent of the visual aspect. A Bridged Comprendium of Many Folds, is the debut record under his own name and you can check out the first piece.
Following a flurry of interest in Dar Es Salaam’s’s singeli sound and it’s hub SISSO RECORDS Studio from The Guardian, Pitchfork, Resident Advisor and FACT – plus Sisso & Maiko’s viral hit Boiler Room session – comes ‘Singeli Ya Maajabu’, the duo’s debut album together. Kenyan-based duo ODD OKODDO (Olith Ratego + Sven Kacirek) will release a new album titled ‘Negore’, on 24th May via Altin Village & Mine. The album features guest appearances from Angel Bat Dawid and KMRU. Watch the official video for the lead song Ochuya.
Singer, composer and improviser Maddalena Ghezzi unveils Dolomite, the fifth release of Ghezzi’s series Minerals. This one is a collaboration with acclaimed bassist, vocalist, composer and environmentalist Ruth Goller. Maddalena and Ruth are a match made in heaven.
We’re loving this one! The debut, self-titled album “Chiaré” from songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Chiaré (otherwise known as Chiara Ianniciello), comes on the heels of her singles, “Zanzare” and “Barocco”.
