Amidst an impressive following built on the back of two stunning EPs released between 2021-22, and freewheeling live shows Parisian quintet Monsieur MÂLÂ is readying the release of their debut album.

Ahead of the album’s release, we’re excited to premiere the vibrant, and elevating first glimpse, ‘Fly Fly’.

It’s a rich and colourful record that draws you in with its samba-funk vibes, afrobeat grooves and a fusion of skipping highlife and folk-esque melodies. An uplifting sense of positivity is evoked by rapturous vocals, bubbling sax lines, and swishing violins.

Speaking about the track, they explain: “This is the MÂLÂ spirit: A palette of colours combined with the power of 5; surprising instrumentation serving sophisticated compositions, always screaming of simplicity. A musical gesture to say, show and share.”

If you’re new to the band Monsieur MÂLÂ is Swaéli Mbappé on bass, Yoann Danier on drums, Nicholas Vella on keys Balthazar Naturel on saxophone and Robin Antunes on violin and mandolin.
