Back in 2016, we stumbled upon Arnheim and were blown away by the sheer quality of his contemporary jazz-tinged deep house productions, thanks to their deep hypnotic rhythms and soulful melodies. He’s been working hard for a while now and receiving much love worldwide.
The Lithuanian-born, now London-based producer released a three-track EP on his Barbara Recordings label in August, and he returns with a new project. Awash with his trademark palette of late-night deep house vibes on his latest ‘Let Be What Is’ EP, he gets some help from a mystery vocalist, who features on ‘Things Can Change’, our favourite cut on the project.
Besides the dreamy vocals, everything from the keys to the deep basslines and the scintillating synths to the rest was produced, laid down and created by Arnheim.
The EP is another excellent, forward-thinking release; each track has its place and time.
