If ever a band were ripe for the On The Corner Records fam, it’s BCUC (Bantu Continued Uhuru Consciousness). The seven-piece band from Soweto have been making waves since bursting on the scene in 2016 with their experimental sound, dubbed “afro-psychedelic future pop”. That sound fits nicely into the OTC ethos of “genre breaking, border crossing bangers from beyond.”

BUCU has a wonderfully hynotic sound you must check out if you have never heard it before. Listen to the first two songs from their new Elektronikalizer project below to get a feel for their vibe.
