Nomok’s debut album ‘Calm On’ is a massage for clearing the mind.
Tel Aviv-based artist Nomok, who’s been making some serious waves as part of Masok and Liquid Saloon, returns with his debut LP ‘Calm On’ with Raw Tapes.
Regular readers of this site will know Nomok for his work with iogi, Duo Brothers and Abro. He’s also lent his incredible keyboard skills to projects by Nitai Hershkovits, Rejoicer, Jenny Penkin, Amir Bresler, and Sefi Zisling, who all appear on his upcoming album.
With its 19 tracks, this LP is filled with atmospheric sounds that invoke a variety of emotions, sometimes leaning to more demanding realms. Across the records is a mixture of synthesised and organic sounds that creates a wide-open space for ambience to blend in.
‘Calm On’ arrives on December 15th. Pre-order it here.
