New Sounds: Isolation Meditations #34

Welcome to your latest Isolation Meditations round-up – here’s what’s recently dropped in our inbox.

We’re currently living in extremely difficult and crazy times, but we know music has healing power and many artists are creating beautiful sounds during this period of prolonged isolation brought on by the pandemic.

Let The Growth Eternal, Wajeed, Preserved Sound Artists, Natureboy Flako and Kutiman soundtrack your Friday evening.

All proceeds of the sale of ‘Invisible’ will go to support children affected by COVID-19 across the developing world via the charity Mary’s Meals. The  profits for Wajeed’s EP will support Underground Music Academy.

So press play, enjoy and more importantly hit BUY and support. Stay safe and loving.

  1. Masaai in Dub…was intrigued by this because it reminded me of some lyrics i heard by IR::Sankara Future Dub Resurgence “Some months later, i was having a conversation with a Masaai sistren nkina,
    and she said to me,

“You told me of your Haitian filmmaker friend Michelange Quay who attended a gathering of ancient spiritual practitioners in the forest of Gabon.

He learnt that when someone in the gathering had a dream or vision, they wouldnt use the words “Dream” or “vision.”

    they would simply say , ” I see this…”
from the track Dreams Are Dub Reality
