Droid jazz meets electronic experimentations on Planet Battagon’s debut album

Planet Battagon will unleash their first full-length in October.

More heat from On The Corner!

After releasing an EP, single and a collaborative effort with The Diabolical Liberties for the label, Planet Battagon will unleash their first full-length in October.

Titled ‘Trans-Neptunia’ the album was recorded over two days by Nathan ‘Tugg’ Curran, on live drums, synth bass, drum synths and FX, in almost full improvisation with associates, Martin Slattery (bass clarinet, alto sax and FX), Oli Savill (percussion), Mickey Ball (trumpet) and Jack Baker (acoustic drums).

Our first taste from the record comes in the form of IxION, which finds them connecting the dots between jazz, outer-national grooves and spacey electronics, creating a refreshingly original and , diverse fusion.
