1988 bounces back to us with an incredible journey into electronica. Fortuna Records delivers a reissue of a mid-’80s gem by keyboardist Raviv Gazit.
The 13-track album was composed entirely on the Synclavier synthesizer in the basement of the Tel-Aviv University in 1985. Gazit was ahead of his time composing cold yet blissful electronic music for film and theatre which he later released as an album.
Across the LP Gazit explores abstract electronics, balearic bliss, ambient soundscapes and pop textures that still sounds fresh and forward thinking over thirty years on.
Before it drops on March 6th, take a ride with the record’s opening track ‘One & One’. Pick up your copy here.
