The always brilliant Dowdelin have just let loose a new track titled ‘Funky Chicken’ featuring Pat Kalla that is absolute pure flames!

Coming just over a year after their debut album, Carnaval Odyssey the new release called Poul Wélélé features two brand new tracks and two remixes from the LP for your listening pleasure.

The French-Caribbean trio cotinues to explore off the beaten path infusing Creole culture, jazz, electronic dancefloor sounds and Caribbean percussion. 

Dowdelin—pronounced “doe-de-lean,” is made up of Olivya (vocals), David Kiledjian (songwriter, producer) and Raphael Philibert (percussion, saxophone) the trio describes their music as an “attempt to herald a Creole Afro-Futurism”.

Richly complex yet immediately accessible, the new song is full of swinging groove, and is instantly danceable.
