Rhythm Section welcomes London duo The Colours That Rise

The Colours That Rise

Rhythm Section can usually be relied on to bring the goods, so it comes as no surprise that the label welcome multi-instrumentalists and production duo The Colours That Rise to their ranks with their newest single ‘Home Time’.

The London-based duo comprised of Simeon Jones and Nathanael Williams has been on our radar ever since they dazzled us with their EP 2020’ back in 2017.

On ‘Home Time’ they bring along drummer Yussef Dayes and guitarist Mansur Brown who also hops on the keys for this track. Together, the four musicians have created a heady brew of crisp, driving drums, psychedelic electronics and cruising synth lines.

With Brown providing the deep bass and subtle keys while Dayes supplies the effortlessly groovy percussion, Jones and Williams craft a beautifully deep and meandering jazz instrumental giving the listener a blissful vibe throughout the song.

A more than welcome return, we can’t wait to hear what else TCTR has in store for us!
