Hieroglyphic Being to release new album, Synth Expressionism/Rhythmic Cubism

Hieroglyphic Being announces new album, Synth Expressionism/Rhythmic Cubism.

Chicago producer Jamal Moss a.k.a Hieroglyphic Being has released a track from his forthcoming album Synth Expressionism/Rhythmic Cubis. Titled ‘Timbuk2’, the twelve-minute piece moves from classic Chicago Acid sounds, to waves of surging sax lines over its ever twisting journey. Listen to ‘Timbuk2’ in the SoundCloud player below.

The new project follows his A Synthetic Love Life EP series on his Mathematics label from earlier this year. The five-track LP is due to be released in full tomorrow via On The Corner Records.

The label says the upcoming album is “a collection of idioms that have no past and no future, his jarring use of polyrhythmic polyphony imbues a sense of timelessness.”

Tune in and hear Hieroglyphic Being doing what he does best taking the listener through an exploratory expedition through the sonic spectrum. Unsurprisingly it’s another essential release from Moss.
