The masked duo of Rafael Pereira and Felipe Salmon have teamed up with vocalist Sara Van and Mikongo for a new song called ‘El Cavilante’.

The new track follows their recent single Ágni, which was released in June. ‘El Cavilante’ is taken from their new album, Zenit & Nadir, which landed today via Enchufada.

For their ten track album, the duo collaborated with the Ballumbrosio family – a famed Peruvian musical dynasty responsible for keeping traditional rhythms alive, across therecord you’ll hear everything from landó, festejo and crioullo music as well as the iconic quijada – a rattling percussive instrument made out of a donkey’s jawbone.

“We like to think that there is a sort of dark, mysterious and mystic sound that is constant in every record,” shares the duo.
