Miami-based experimental duo, TWYN, have shared their lastest work ii, the double single reintroduces their meeting of jazztronica and dynamic lyricism, by way of instrumental expression.
The keys and drum duo comprised of Jason Matthews and Aaron Glueckauf whisk up an exciting mix of 70’s prog rock, ambient electronics and jazz.
Speaking about their eclectic style, Matthews says, “True innovation is a goal of all artists. It’s a chance to present a new perspective on an existing reality. A fresh take on ideas we can agree on, to create something we can wonder about.”
The new two tracker follows up on the success of their recent single “Dystopia”. Recorded at DJ Le Spam’s legendary studio, City of Progress, in Miami the pair delves deeper into the analog world, recording everything to an MCI 16 track tape machine.
