New & Noteworthy: Automatic – Too Much Money

Twistedsoul - Automatic

Acquaint yourself with Los Angeles post-punk trio Automatic whose latest track ‘Too Much Money’ packs quite the punch.

Having already shared their pulsating debut single “Calling It” last month, this serves as the second offering from their forthcoming debut album Signal which will arrive in a few months via Stones Throw.

Everything from the brooding guitars lines, snappy synths and explosive drums not to mention the confident vocals is pure magic.

Automatic is Izzy Glaudini (synths, vocals), Lola Dompé (drums, vocals) and Halle Saxon (bass, vocals) their sound according to the label takes in “dub reggae, motorik rhythms, and gnarly synth work inspired by bands like NEU! and Suicide with the eerie atmosphere of films by auteurs like David Lynch and Dario Argento…”
