Saxophonist Caroline Davis recently returned with her new album, Alula, via New Amsterdam Records’.
The 11-track record follows last years Heart Tonic album and finds Davis dabbling in electro-acoustics working alongside keyboard wizard Matt Mitchell and Deerhoof drummer Greg Saunier.

The song’s sharp shifting soundscape is brilliantly captured as an array of beautiful, exotic and colourful birds move to the melodies of the music.
