This week we have a guest mix from Twospeak.
The London-based jazz quartet came through with their debut EP Twoism early this year and we were instantly drawn in by their brilliant fusion of jazz, folk, rock, and electronic blended with Cuban, Brazillian and Moroccan music.
Led by composer and saxophone Ronan Perrett the band is comprised of Ben Lee on guitar, Joseph Costi on keys and Ben Brown on drums.
Speaking about the group, Perrett explains “TwoSpeak is a fusion of so many musical influences – the folk and electronic music I was exposed to growing up, the jazz and classical music I studied at the academy, and the Cuban, Brazillian and Moroccan music I’ve discovered since arriving in London.”
Just like the music the band creates the mix curated by Perrett covers a lot of ground from afro-dub to folk by way of electronica and everything in between.
Check out the tracklist below, and enjoy the music!
