After spending the last decade quietly releasing music on Going Good, FIT Sound, Golf Channel, M1 Sessions to name a few Detroit’s Todd Modes has shared a collection of his works on the new label 100 Limousines.

Inspired by the birth of his son and the death of his grandfather—New Life is a deeply personal meditation on the cycles of life and time.

The nine-track mini album spans recordings from the last 20+ years that moves through ambience, beats, jazz and moods for an original and full-flavoured set.

Ranging from the glimmering ambience of ‘Isotari’ to the deep house strut of ‘Waves In Love’ via the downtempo trip-hop grooves of ‘The Archer’, this mind-blowing and forward-thinking album had us mesmerised from start to finish.

This is a super collection that expertly explores Modes musical depth and artistic purpose and a wonderful first offering from 100 Limousines, we can’t wait to hear what the label has in store for us next.
