Beating Heart just dropped a new compilation called ‘Afro Deep Vol. 1’ that explores vintage recordings from 1950’s Tanzania.
The Beating Heart collective continue where they left off late last year on Beating Heart – South Africa working with today’s hottest producers, musicians and artists to remix the world’s largest collection of vintage African field recordings.
Their newest collection features a selection of artists from Scotland through to Finland, via London that includes 2fox, The Busy Twist, Austin Ato, Boys Ride Bikes and Maago.
The series kicks off with five tracks that transport the listener through a landscape of deep and immersive sounds.
