Chancha is gearing up to release his new album Bienaventuranza on June 8th, and in preparation for the record, he’s shared the fantastic single Ilaló featuring Mateo Kingman.
Moving from his enchanting melodies that get stuck in your head, to an infectious cumbia beat, soft harp picks all lovely intertwined with touches of dancehall, and folk with the sun shining outside Ilaló provides the perfect soundtrack.
The 13-track collection takes his otherworldly patchwork of samples, voices and drum loops to new heightened levels; profound and proudly South American.
Appearing on the LP are heavy hitters in the digital cumbia scene, including Kaleema, Lido Pimienta, and Kingman all of whom contribute their highly distinct sounds to the natural flow of the album.
We’ve got Ilaló on heavy rotation, and hopefully, you will as well!
