Joe Armon-Jones shares new cut from debut album

Joe Armon-Jones set to release debut album.

Last month saw London jazz musician Joe Armon-Jones unveil the title track from his forthcoming solo album Starting Today.

The prodigious artist keeps the momentum going with the catchy, breezy, and soulful sounds of ‘Almost Went Too Far’ which once again showcases his undeniable skill on the keys and also features his first vocals on a track.

A world away from the afrobeat and jazz fusion grooves of the lead track, on the strength of the two songs we’ve heard so far, the LP is shaping up pretty nicely!

Tune in below and look out for Starting Today which arrives on May 4th via Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood label.
