With his debut album out next year, Pique-Nique Recordings co-founder Jackson Milas has shared a delectable first offering called ‘December 21st’.
Shades of soul, post-rock and jazz gently mingle as soft warm waves of upright bass, percussion, alto sax and piano make this track the perfect soundtrack for a cosy night in by the fire.
Speaking about the track Milas says the song, “echoes the feeling of being in a major city right before Christmas when the place empties out and a sense of solitude begins to set in.”
The limited hand stamped 7″ features an exclusive alternate take on the flip. We really can’t wait to hear the rest of the record, because December 21st is quite frankly brilliant!
