South London-based artist Wu-Lu returns with new music

New music from Wu-Lu.

We love artists who evolve their sound leaving the listener never quite knowing what their next project is going to sound like.

That’s exactly the case with Wu-Lu and his new track “Jaybo” which sounds nothing like his 2015 EP GINGA.

Whilst the EP encompassed the off-kilter brilliance of J Dilla’s hip-hop with touches of lo-fi, psychedelic guitar and soulful rhythms, the new track is characterised by deep-rooted guitar groove, swirling percussive moments and drawled out vocals, it’s the sounds of an artist coming into his own.

There’s not much else to say, other than stream below and let Wu-Lu take you on an exquisite musical quest.

Jaybo is out now – buy from Bandcamp.
