The Apostles

Boston-based record label Cultures of Soul present two amazing tracks from The Apostles of Aba.

Since forming in 1973, the band has thrilled audiences with their stunning shows performing in a range of styles including rock, soul, funk, pop, and reggae. The band continues to thrill audiences in their hometown of Aba with dazzling shows.

The limited edition 7″ vinyl features Banko Woman, an obscure track originally released on the eponymous LP on Love Day Records in 1977. It’s a sublime piece of Afro-funk and disco that has lost none of its’ intoxicating powers. On the flip side is “Faith, Luck & Music,” also from the original Banko Woman album.
